About me
My life is my family. I am married to my beautiful wife, Rachel. We have two amazing sons: Wesley (16) and Shepard (11). We live in North County San Diego where we were both raised, and I've grow quite tired of stepping on Legos in the dark.
MY JOURNEY
I have always had a love and passion for design. Even as a youth I was drawn towards it. My friends and I pushed to stand out and become our own brand. We were unashamed and expressive in how we dressed, the music we played, and the way we lived. This was my crash course in design and marketing.
My first job as a screen printer gave me an appreciation for the process, guiding designs from conception to layout, and then to print. I'd draw logos and flyers for my band, and print stickers and cheap shirts that would barely last a summer. It was expression without any boundaries.
Homebuilding developed a great love of working with my hands and gave great lessons in layout, measurement, and especially attention to detail. I met cleanliness and order... they became good friends of mine. I also learned as an independent craftsman that working to build something with others is a reward worth sharing.
Now as a Brand Manager, along with the creative output, I am able to inspire, build up and invest in those around me (or remotely). I am proof that hard work does pay off, become a Pro at problem-solving, and know all the more that you can find inspiration in almost anything or anywhere.
I have been involved in design, marketing and management for over a decade, and my experience ranges from textiles to text layouts. I really do enjoy the creative process and have learned that from design to marketing, people matter just as much as the work.
I am humbled by this journey and the privilege it gives me to serve others.
